It's a very nice, stable, and light table. But it is hard to fold the accordion top and wrestle everything back into the storage bag. Just received it and put it together, it was easy to set up. Put a few things on it and held up well, can't wait to actually use it on a camping trip. Only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because I have not used it outdoors and is why I bought it. I'll let you know when I use it for the first time.

I currently own both the regular and the XL versions of this table and bought this one for my son's new collection of camping gear. I've had the regular version for over 15 years and though it's a bit beat-up, still functions well. I use a 20+ lb. StoveTek rocket stove to heat water and cooking/bbq and don't worry when burning chunks of fuel hit this table as it's top is aluminum and non-flammable. The only concern is that it's a bit wobbly but still holds the stove and a bucket with 3 gals. of water or about 40 lbs. with-out any problem. When I head for the field, I don't leave with-out this table.
It is a reasonably sturdy table, especially if you make sure it's set up on a good ground spot. Several people have been very pleased with this table and it will be able to hold a dutch oven.

Cast iron is only for car or horse camping, very heavy. Almost impossible to break, does rust, generally larger means wider and thus more stable, but except for dealing with the lid I've never had one tip or turn over if it has a flat bottom. Which is the kind to have, so you can use it anywhere. They cook great.
