Regarding studiness of product: Do you consider cast iron dutch ovens standard camping cook tools? Comments on the smaller version indicate it's not that sturdy. Wouldn't larger mean less stable?

  • Answer It is a reasonably sturdy table, especially if you make sure it's set up on a good ground spot. Several people have been very pleased with this table and it will be able to hold a dutch oven.

  • Answer Cast iron is only for car or horse camping, very heavy. Almost impossible to break, does rust, generally larger means wider and thus more stable, but except for dealing with the lid I've never had one tip or turn over if it has a flat bottom. Which is the kind to have, so you can use it anywhere. They cook great.
