“While it is certainly too heavy and bulky for backpacking, it is great for tailgating, day trips by car, picnics, boating and float fishing, photography (blinds and events), fishing (wader removal), sporting events, spare use for guests when road camping, bird and animal watching, and other similar uses. While not a chair for lounging or kicking back in camp, it is comfortable for short time use, compact enough for car trunk or hatchback, and very sturdy.”
