    Got this for our 13 year old who is small, light, and new to camping with Boy Scouts. We needed to get quite a few supplies, so we honing in on getting the biggest bang for our buck. This worked just fine. He's only used it once. His friend had an inflatable mat, and he thinks if/when he gets a new mat that he would get one of those for comfort.

    I bought this mat so i could cut it up to make a custom mat for my 4 year old daughter to use backpacking. For that it was perfect, my 35lbs daughter loves it and it packs lite and small for her. At the discounted price it was a good buy.
