Ok--so I read all the reviews of this chair, and I did some thinking, and looking around at all the fold up chairs I could find. The main gripe seems to be that this is a heavy chair. But, it does hold 300 pounds... so, wouldn't you want it to be 'heavy'? I'm a pretty small woman, 5' and around 1...

I've owned four of these chairs over the years and love them. When my last one finally broke down (screw busted that hinges legs together) I was super excited to see that sierra trading post still carried them and ordered another one. I would give it a five star rating if the cup holder was a bit more sturdy. It tends to tip.

I was looking for portable chair that is better quality than the typical chair you commonly find.
This chair fit the bill. It is a little heavy, comparatively, but don't mind for quality and hopeful durability.
Only used a handful of times at this point but chair is comfortable and seems to be good quality.
The seat height for the Front/Back is: 20â€/16â€. The weight capacity of this chair is 300 lbs.

You should like this chair. My husband is over 6' & is comfortable for him. The chair seat is higher than the "other" folding, bag chairs. It is okay for me (5'5"), thought closer would be better--so for you, probably just right. Easy to get in and out of. Don't "sink" in it, but fit comfortably. Has a life-time warranty, according to the paper that comes with it...

I would say this chair is either the same height as others or just a bit taller. The advantage would be it's certainly easy to get in and out of

I am 6'3 and 250lbs and I find that the chairs are taller than other chairs. The chair is sturdy enough that if you need to stand up that you can use the arm rests to do it. You are still lower to the ground versus standard residential furniture.
