We purchased two chairs a couple years ago as a gift for family. They love the chairs as they are sturdy and comfortable. We bought the same chairs as our existing chairs literally were standing on their last legs! The cup holder is inferior and is somewhat functional. Overall, wonderful, comfortable chair. Happy sitting!

Perfect chair for the cabin, deck, or just hanging out. It is a very comfortable chair and easy to handle. I'm expecting years of service sitting in this chair.

!st one came in with a broken arm but was cheerfully replaced - thanks.. the new one is holding up great and comfortable - the cup holder is a bit lacking in depth.

I'd previously written a review concerning this chair arriving broken. When I returned it, I asked for an exchange. Instead of an exchange I received a refund and was charged freight on the return shipment. To their credit, STP has credited me back for the shipping charges. I appreciate the company standing behind their products and, in the end, taking care of the customer. Thank you STP! BTW - still really like these chairs (I own 1) - just wish they held up a little better during shipping.

I purchased one of these chairs - like several other customers, mine arrived broken. Plastic slider under the arm rest was broken. Plastic parts fell out of the box when I opened it. I sent the chair back asking for an exchange. STP sent me another - which was fine. Very nice chair. Comfortable, small when folded. I liked the chair enough to order another. It too arrived broken. The box it came in was partially ripped open. Looked like it had been used as a hockey puck in the warehouse prior to shipping. I sent it back asking for an exchange. I was charged $5.95 for shipping and my credit card was credited for the original price of the chair. No exchange took place. In short, STP sent me a broken chair, then charged me $5.95 to send back their broken chair. Not the way to treat a customer.

Metal arm has plastic end attachments. Received original and its replacement with a broken arm. Either not durable enough or inadequately packaged for shipping.

We've had two of these chairs for a couple of years now and really like them. They are really good quality and are great for car camping (although bulky)and sitting around the fire pit in our backyard. They have been used for multiple parties and are always a favorite with guests. I think we picked them up for [$], which was a great deal.

It is very difficult to get out of chairs that have soft arms if you have a bad back or knees. You can find chairs that fold but we have been looking for some time to find chairs that collapse with hard arms to replace our very old ones. I read a lot of complaints about the weight of these chairs but they are just as heavy as our old ones. Remember this chair is made out of steel not aluminum! My complaint would be the cup holder. I say do the cup holder right or don't do it at all. It is a very pour design! We are both 5' 6" and like the fact that the chair does not cut into the back of your legs and our feet are confortably flat the ground. The seat has ample room for my tush and big thighs. From the seat to the back it is one piece of material without a seam or brace across so you can kind of slump down or push yourself up straighter in the chair. This is a highly rated chair for people with bad backs so we will see how my husband does for extended periods of time. The price we paid for the chairs they were worth a try.
