ALPS Mountaineering Steel Leisure Chair

I purchased these to replace some dime store chairs and was looking for something tougher and more durable especially for heavier people. It fit the bill, with the only downfall potentially being is that its heavier that standard duty chairs. Very comfortable.

I think this is better for the beach as it leans back and is very sturdy. heavier than the cheaper ones, but very nice

These chairs are great. They set up and pack easily. I wouldn't want to carry them to far, but they are great for the camp site or back yard fire pit.

Nice chair, love the armrests. Much easier to get out of than the other soft arm chairs. Beverage holder could be made bigger but not a big issue for me. I use this chair anywhere I need a seat! And will take camping. Probably will buy another one for husband!

I recently ordered this chair and it turned out to be perfect for a car camping trip. The chair is very comfortable and sturdy. The frame is very well made, collapses nicely, and the canvas cloth is very strong. As many other reviews point out however, the chair is quite heavy relative to a typical, cheaper collapsible chair. It is therefore not suitable for carrying over long distances. Collapsed, it is not much bigger than other chairs, just a bit heavier and denser.

This is a super comfortable chair, but it's much heavier than I expected. I took it with me on a weekend canoe trip and it added quite a lot to my overall weight. It did come in handy because I was able to use it to counter balance my dog in the canoe ;-). It's great for events were you don't have to carry it very far. The cup holder is a little flimsy and not very deep. It was a bit precarious with my 20oz soda bottle.

Very comfortable chair that folds up easily. The only slight downside is it's a bit heavier than the cheaper chairs, but thats not a problem. It's very well built with a solid frame and should last a long time.

Great deal with MUCH better quality for about the same price as discount stores!
