ALPS Mountaineering Steel Leisure Chair

We use these chairs in our campsite and needed solid comfortable chairs because of lower back issues. These chairs fit the bill as they give good back support. The attached cup holders are doable but could be better but our priority was a good quality chair with good back support.

May be the most comfortable folding leisure chair I have ever used. A bit heavy, so not a good pick to carry any significant distance.

Used it before with someone who had one. Bought two and brought one to a place where chairs were not comfortable at all. Neighbours found this idea very brilliant and were envious. Unusual to bring out there but so useful, I was certain to sit in a comfortable chair and to have one only for me. Easy to open, easy to sit and get out. Colour fits to my environment I am happy with this purchase

We're renovating a property and need folding chairs since there's no furniture. I decided to try the Alps Chair when the nylon hinges gave out on last of the old bubba chairs. The new chair worked out great -- very well made, sturdy, and even more comfortable than the old chairs. Only downside is that they are a pretty heavy. That hasn't stopped me from taking them to outdoor concerts or using as spare chairs on the patio. Just ordered another, plan on a couple more. The little Alps table is great too.

We use them for the grandchildren's sporting events. The quality is the best. Comfortable

i needed chair that didnt cut off the circulation in the back of my legs, and i found it. Really sturdy chair seems very nice especially for the price.

Just like everyone else said, these puppies are awesome, but don't plan on carrying it too far.. 13# each.. might as well be a boat anchor. Perfect for car camping. The ONLY reason I give this chair 4 stars instead of 5 is the "cup holder".. Ok, so you go camping, set up camp, get the fire going... then what do you do? You open a beer.. Hello?! It's a camp chair! Please make sure my beer will fit in the cup holder. (ok, ok.. a normal 12 oz bottle WILL fit in there, but it takes a little too much effort in my humble opinion.. )

Bought this for my boyfriend who frequently is having back problems. Other collapsible/travel chairs really sag in the seat and don't allow you to sit up straight. This chair provides the support to your back and allows you to sit up straight. Very happy with this purchase. It is a little heavier than your typical fold out chair, but the construction is solid and worth carrying for the comfort/support it provides.

I needed a couple of chairs for the deck and ones similar to these had filled the bill in the past. This chair has a bucket seat that puts you closer to the ground than others, and the seat stitching has begun to tear out after a week or two of use.
