I am very impressed with how comfortable these are to sleep on. They look so thin, it's hard to imagine they'd do much to cushion my tired bones from the ground- but they're great! Even on the hardwood floor of a lean-to, I slept practically as well as at home.

My only slight disappointment: the st... Read More

The size of one is slightly larger than my two person tent but so comfortable, totally worth it if you are car camping and much less hassle then a blow up mattress.

Do you like sleeping in car camping luxury? Do you want to be cradled in squishy air comfort? Do you like not sleeping on the cold ground? If you answered "yes" to any or all of these questions, then this is your air pad!

We ordered these to replace some old air pads that were springing leaks every time we though about using them. One of the features that made us buy this is that is was a pair!!!!! It's much more economical to buy these than 2 separate air pads. This is definitely NOT your back country air pad, this is the big mamma-jamma sleeping pad. It's thick, it's heavy, it's amazing! Great for car camping, I love the Velcro so you can attach them to make a super sleeping pad. They are a bit much to inflate and deflate, but it's worth it for the comfort they bring. I woke up and felt great. They kept me warm all night, I almost forgot I was camping.

My stepdaughter has even brought them out to the living room to watch movies on and craft. I wish I would have found them sooner.

We have not been camping with these yet, but seem to be well made and durable. Great for car camping, horseback base camps or llama camping for couples. Attach together easily for double sleeping bags.

It's mainly for car camping, especially if you are tired of leaky air mattresses like me. I've packed it on easy trips but it's massive at 25"x7" and 5lbs, but you can strap it to the bottom of your pack if you're up to it. I'm 6'2" and 215 lbs and it works well for me.

Comfortable pads that feel well-constructed and are very comfortable. Of course the selling point is that they Velcro together for that "loving" couple!!

  • Question “Weight”
Asked on 1/19/2016 6:17:10 PM by mountaineering sumit from Alaska
    • Answer This is not a lightweight pad. Its best use would be for car camping, or only short backpacks. I purchased this for car camping and can't wait to use it. I have set it up in my living room and it seems to be an excellent product! Hopefully the website has the actual weight in the "specs" section.

    • Answer According to the product overview/specs above the weight for the set is 10 lb. 6 oz.

    • Answer It is flat and can inflate up to 3". It inflates by itself to about 2.5ish but you'll have to blow a little air to make it to the 3" mark. No pillow, just flat. The valves are at the top right and left corners. These allow the pad to inflate and deflate quickly. Overall, I highly recommend these, very comfortable.

    • Answer The pad is flat, does not have a pillow. It does inflate to 3". Well, it's more like 2.5" on its own (2 5/8", I just measured it) and you can blow into it and get it to 3" without much trouble. I did this the first few times I used it but found out I prefer it inflated to its natural state, it doesn't really feel much softer, but I sleep better. Also, since it has no pillow, there is no top or bottom, the valve side can be placed where ever you like.

    • Answer I don't think that these pads could be 3" even when inflated to their maximum. I believe that it is more like 1.5-2".

    • Answer It actually inflated to over two and three-quarter inches, I probably could've blown a bit more air into it, I don't think the mat is as comfortable when it is fully inflated. It does not have a pillow and it is a flat pad with two valves at the top.

    • Answer i have used these on 3 occasions now. I am guessing the inflated thickness is about 2 inches at most. It may be possible to make them thicker by adding air but I have found them comfortable enough by simply opening the valves for self inflation. It does not have a separate pillow. There are 2 valves on each pad at the top corners.

  • Question “What size diameter does it roll into”
Asked on 6/22/2015 8:13:58 PM by Ash from Michigan
    • Answer I am guessing 6=7''. I was able to roll it up and fit it easily into the bag provided in one try. With a second roll to eliminate more air I might have made them tighter. As stated these are too bulky and heavy for serious back packing.
Answered on 6/22/2015 11:36:03 PM by Andy from Vancouver from British Columbia
    • Answer The tightest we can roll it is to an 8" diameter, this is with my wife helping. We do them together to get them tighter. I did on my own and could barely fit it back into it's sack, so, maybe near 12" diameter. I'm not sure and I'm not going to try. Hope this helps.

    • Answer I measured about 8.5 inches in diameter, a little bulky but worth it. These are the best air pads, you can't beat the price.
