I am very impressed with how comfortable these are to sleep on. They look so thin, it's hard to imagine they'd do much to cushion my tired bones from the ground- but they're great! Even on the hardwood floor of a lean-to, I slept practically as well as at home.

These pads are easy to inflate and by blowing on the valve you can add more air. We plan on using them for sunbathing as well as camping. The price was excellent when you consider the quality of the fabric and the inflation valve appears to be well made. The covers and straps to help keep them rolled up was an added bonus. I haven't tried to get them down to their original to travel with yet, so we'll see if it deflates as easily. The velcro to attach the mats together went the entire length of the mat and will be nice when we add the pad any couple sleeping arrangement.

We aired these up quickly with blowing in them a little and left them up for a week. They held the air great. Good three inch thickness should be sufficient for body cushioning. Haven't used them yet but I am sure they will be comfortable for a good nights sleep on the road. They also are light and roll up fairly compact so they won't take a lot of space in out motorcycle trailer.

I was so pleasantly surprised how comfortable this sleepng pad is! The padding is more than sufficient and the fact that the two can be velcroed together is GREAT for sleeping together! I was so impressed that Imhave now purchased 3 of them for family camping!! Thank you!

Slept great is very comfortable. Took very little effort to inflate (just let it sit for a few minutes, then exhale into it a few times to fully inflate). it is definitely perfect for car camping i would definitely not try to take this backpacking.
To inflate the mat you simply open the valves at the top of the air pad and the air begins to get sucked into the pad. When it is inflated you just close the valves. These are made from polyurethane open cell foam. Alps has a video explaining how the pads work that you can view here if you would like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t67Pprcp0Jg
