“This is the thickest self inflating sleep pad I have seen. The older I get the more cushion I need. I started on a 1//2 pad my last one was 2 inch and this is 4. I figure when I get sore on this one it will be time to give up camping which I don't plan to do for many years yet. This is big when it is packed but I have gotten to the point where sleep is worth it. I prefer self inflating to blow up air mattresses - which I do not like at all. IT took this thing overnight to inflate completely on its own. I usually use some lung power to speed it up.”
