I got tired of not sleeping well because of light weight poor performing pads. I'm willing to put up with a little bulk for good sleep.
Make sure to add a few good breaths after its done self inflating.

Luckily I tested this out before i needed it camping. A small air bubble formed between the outer layer and the inside, which grew and grew when laying down on the mat, soon forming a very large air pocket. Now, it is more like a balloon than a mat.

We really love these pads. We used this product in the Eastern Sierras in California. Altitude 7600 ft and low temp was 47F. These are very comfortable pads, and were replacements for old worn out pads of a similar model.

Unfortunately, the second pad we purchased for this trip had what appears to be an internal separation and never fully inflated in the field. It developed a bubble that eventually moved down the length of the pad. Even with the oddly mobile bubble, we were able to use the pad and it held air just fine.

I got this sleeping pad primarily for car camping. The pad basically stays in my truck on my "bed," which is perfect for following the manufacturer's suggestion of storing it with the pad flat and the air valve open. I had a light, tube-style Hyalite pad in my truck for a while, which developed a minute hole in an awkward place after a few months. This purchase was to replace that pad.

I've never owned a foam pad before. I've used this one for about a week now. It's comfortable to sleep on, even when I forget to close the air valve! The reason I didn't give it the last star is because it's awkward for me to roll it up for transporting. I gave up and only did a half-[...]ed job for a recent tent trip, then strapped it to my pack. You have to be diligent and strong to get it into the shape necessary for the carrying sack (unless there's some trick I don't know about...). I didn't have the patience for that last weekend.

All in all, I'm really happy I got this. Hopefully I can try again and succeed in patching my old, tubular sleeping pad, and this one can stay in my truck.

The first time we used this product, the two internal layers came apart and the entire pad inflated like a balloon. I will be returning this product or simply puting it in the trash!

I ordered three of these sleeping pads based on customer reviews - and we were not disappointed! We used them on a camping trip a few days after they arrived! Everyone slept great. It is true they are on the narrow side but easy to pack fits perfect under sleeping bag and comes with a patch kit and price was definity right!
