Very nice for the price. The only suggestion I have for improvement is that it would have been nice to have 2 accessory "side curtains" included rather than just the 1, although I was able to contact the manufacturer and order an additional side curtain (for privacy as much as shading purposes).
Sierra Trading Post is great!

Got this for a beach vacation at Lake Michigan and it did not disappoint. The only reason for not giving five stars is the stakes. If you are on sand, you will want some longer stakes, which I already owned. It creates a good-sized shady area underneath the awning and held up well in windy conditions with all the guy ropes out.

I will start by saying I love ALPS Mountaineering products. I purchased one of their four person tents a year ago and it is flat out the best tent I have ever owned. I purchased this awning as a replacement for an easy-up and I am quite happy with it. The design is unique and well thought out. It was not easy to set up by myself but that is no biggie because I do not usually camp alone anyway. The dome shape is great because it doesn't allow water to pool on top and with three legs (one being longer) it can be easily set up on a hill or on uneven ground in the woods. When breaking down it is a cinch to take down and it easily fits back in the bag. All in all this is yet another quality product from those folks at ALPS Mountaineering. cheers

Bought this for shade for grandchild's outdoor water/sand table, table and chairs, etc. Haven't experienced wind or rain but side panel is moveable and can follow the sun. It is substantially bigger than a similar product carried by STP and seems much safer than the other product that appears to have straps(?) connecting the legs of the tripod. Since these seem to be on the ground I thought they might be a tripping hazard. We would recommend longer stakes as others have suggested.
