Bought this for a backpacking expedition and was very disappointed. It is significantly heavier than the specs state. It is a slow set-up because the poles must be run through a sleeve; it does not rely entirely on speed clips. Also, the rainfly only goes on one direction, and it takes several stakes and guy lines to be fully functional. Two of the pole ends pulled out of the plug when I took the tent down. These are not backcountry friendly if the campsite is rocky or under windy/stormy conditions. Sadly, I will return it.

A very nice tent, good fly design, easy to set up, comes with good stakes and guying cords. The only negative I see is that the interior length is a bit short. I'm 5'-10" and I can just barely stretch out. If you're taller, I'd look for a larger tent.

I never thought I could afford a backpacking tent with two doors and two vestibules, under 5 lbs. I love this tent. The only time it ever leaked was in torrential rain, before I sealed the seams, and even then it as only a slow drip. I've owned it for about two years, and have absolutely no complaints

Easy and fast set up, well thought out, easy in and out, great in rain. I bought it cheap from Sierra @88 and was surprised at the good value. A little tight for two big guys, only big enough for sleeping but light for backpacking. I am buying a 3 person as I like the design so much.
