ALPS Whipstitch Cardigan Sweater - Lambswool-Angora (For Women)

I never know whether to buy a medium or large. This I purchased in a large as it's a cardigan and I could put a layer under it. I have long arms and the sleeves are still too long but with a fold back on the cuff, it's just right and it fits well with a mock turtleneck under it.

I've only worn this sweater once but love the look and the color.

I am delighted with the sweater purchase. The sweater is much warmer than many of my cashmere sweaters. (I bought it because I wanted warmth. I also like the olive green color, which has been hard to find in sweaters this season. The yarn detail on the front is a change for me. The photograph does not show it, but the yarn also criss-crosses up the sweater's sides. I have no problems to report about wear or fit. I haven't had problems with pilling, but I don't wear the sweater for days on end. The sweater also fits me perfectly. My arms are long. It does not pull at the buttons, as some here have described, but at work I button sweaters only at the bottom, to about midway. I am long-waisted, and the sweater just reaches my natural waistline (about 2.5 inches below a normal waistline). It isn't the most stylish or fashionable item in my wardrobe, but it is the most practical item among my work clothes. On the most frigid days, it gives me an added layer of protection against bitter winds coming off the river on the walk to work. At work, it surrounds me with warmth and softness.

this was a gift for charity, so I didn't try it on and have no way of getting feedback on the fit. But it looked very pretty and felt soft. It did look a little short in length--was quite broad and sleeves looked long but torso looked short.

I really like this sweater, and it fits well, but the fabric pulls at the buttons and the sweater isn't tight, almost like the buttons are just too close to the edge of the fabric- but otherwise I love the sweater.

Soft, warm, great color -- I love this sweater and have worn it many times in the past few weeks with skirts and jeans. I'll probably try to buy another one in a different color.

The sweater was a beautiful color, but the fabric was so itchy that I only could stand wearing the sweater for a few minutes.

Really happy with the quality of this sweater. Sweaters at stores like[...] are the same price but rarely made of anything but synthetics. This is a nice lambswool that feels good. Looking forward to wearing it!
