“This was a gift for a dear friend celebrating a significant birthday. I went looking for a birthstone item, but prices for smoky topaz or yellow citrine were beyond my price range. Since this was mainly smoky quartz, that seemed an apt substitute. I hope she enjoys it; I know I would! It is elegant, and quite versatile--good length, wonderful color ( with the tiger's eye beads a perfect accent), significant appearance without looking clunky. Since it is not for me, I cannot speak to drawbacks. Just know I gave it to her with a feeling of pride, and am anxious to hear her reaction (birthday is tomorrow).”
