Verified Buyer Reviewed by Christi the OCD Shopper from Ankeny, IA on Sunday, February 17, 2013The fabric was OK, but expected a sturdier ponte fabric for a pencil skirt; more spandex. The fit was off a bit. I ordered my normal size 8, but the skirt was too tight at the top and just right at the bottom. Did not flatter my figure at all. Also, they inserted an extra piece of fabric at the bottom of the skirt not common in a pencil skirt. Lastly, it definitely comes up very high above the waist (I am 5'7"), but the length was good. If you are trying to conceal a slight bulge in the tummy area, I definitely would not recommend this skirt unless you wear spanx. Returned it due to quality and fit.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Platinum Gray Gal from Portland OR on Monday, February 4, 2013Waistband design smooths the middle-section, which can be a problem with this tight profile skirt. Nice stretch to the fabric keeps walking functional!
Reviewed by Island girl. from Fox Island, WA on Thursday, January 3, 2013Great skirt! It is a bit tight for me (a small 12), but as I am losing weight, it should fit well soon. A size up would be too large. The knit fabric is heavy enough to hold its shape and the stretch is perfect. The seams are beautifully finished. The length is to my mid-knees which is perfect for an older, tall woman. A trendier, younger woman would want to shorten it, I'm sure. Overall, great quality at a great price. This will be my go-to skirt.
Verified Buyer Reviewed by ClassyGal from Washington, DC on Wednesday, November 28, 2012Skirt is a little long, but has nice stretch. The stretch is essential since it is a pencil skirt and a contemporary fit (read small). It is one of the few pencil skirts I have that I can actually sit down and not feel like I am in a corset.
