    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    This beanie is good if you want to fit it under a helmet; it's lightweight, extremely packable (smaller than my fist), and warm. But it's pretty thin, even though it's abrasion- and wind-resistant, and I guess I've got a bit of a big head; it was a bit too small, and it left a line on my forehead after wearing it. So if you've got a smallish head, it's great. Bigger noggined ones: caveat emptor.
