This is a great everyday bag; not attractive enough for an evening wear, but very comfy, light, and made of very soft leather. I love the cell phone compartment on the outside, so that I can easily retrieve the phone w/o digging through the bag. Great size and perfect strap length.

This bag looks good in the picture, but it arrived all bent over. It is also quite small. I returned it.

I'm a single mom and I don't have a car, so it's important that I carry everything I need for the day when I leave the house. As a rule, I don't carry my check book, credit cards, paper money and coins in the came wallet. I use a separate wallet for each. This way I can pick and choose what I need to take with me. Sometimes I only need change for the bus, so why should I have to pull out my entire check book wallet for a few quarters? Anyway, I was very surprised that this compact purse was able to carry all of the items I mentioned above, plus a make up bag, tissues, pens, hand sanitizer, small lotion bottle, paperback novel, small bottle of water and a candy bar - with room to spare. AND I especially love the fact that the bag has a small outside pocket just large and deep enough to hold my cell phone without having to worry about it slipping out. Having lived in NYC for several years, I've grown to appreciate the security of a zippered bag, so yes, for the cost, I would definitely receommend purchasing this compact purse -- though I wouldn't call it a "tote bag" as the description reads.

This was purchased for my wife, and she is pleased with it, said if she had seen it while shopping she would have bought it. A valentine gift, this one made me some points! Woven leather is very attractive, and the size is excellent.

It is the perfect size for what I need to carry --eliminates my tendency to "clutter". High quality construction and materials throughout. Straps are perfect length to keep it close while carrying other things. Adds a classy touch to casual clothes.

It's a really beautiful bag but, as others have said, it's a little small and not enough compartments.

i love ameribag stuff but this was way too small. i bought the bigger one which was too big but it was perfect for my laptop. i would love a medium sized one. oh well.

This bag is the just-right size for my big four must-haves around town: wallet, cosmetic bag, sunglasses, and cell phone. It looks great and is comfortable to carry. I bought the larger version for travel.
