AmeriBag® HBPack Ripstop Nylon Backpack - Small

The pack is the perfect size for what I wanted, to carry a laptop, accessories, and a Franklin planner. This eliminated the shoulder bag provided with my laptop, and is much better and easier on my back when going between buildings. This is just big enough. It seems well constructed and at the STP price, a very good value. If you want to carry more stuff, get the Ameribag large version.

Very well made. Slightly larger than needed for a daily organizer, but very efficient as a laptop/business bag.

I plan to use this for our trip to Europe next month. Great organizer and easy to get at. Material seems strong, and the pack, overall, seems well made. I bought a second one to give away as a gift.

Great for shopping trips and cruise ships

I've compared the quality and number of useful compartments to a backpack I saw at a local bookstore, and for the same price, the Ameribag is far superior

The quality is superb! The Ameribag system is very efficient and low stress to backs. For a day or two at a time, this is an excellent, lightweight choice. Great for school, air travel (personal item), hiking, bicycle riding, commuting,etc.

I purchased this backpack for weekend trips, so I didn't want to loose capacity to a dedicated laptop sleeve. The main compartment is unusually shaped, being large on top and narrowing at the bottom. This severely limits the capacity of the bag, so I returned it. Otherwise, the bag is well made. I liked the padding on the back and straps, which makes it comfortable to wear.

I especially love the clip across the front that secures the pack and the fact that it is not too tall or long for me. These two features combined help me to walk more upright and relaxed compared to previous back packs. I have my car keys and a safety whistle clipped right to the D-Rings on the straps. The cushioned handle at the top edge is pure genius. Sometimes I just want to go a short distance with it and not put it on my back, this grip really makes that easier. The shorter design of the backpack allows me to carry it in this manner (a bit like an attache) without dragging the bottom on the ground or hitting on steps. The only thing I wish is that the main compartment were more "squared off" at the bottom. Because it is narrower at the bottom & wider at the top it has a tendency to tip over when you want to stand it on its bottom. I have Ameribag leather bags that were great quality and was happy to see that this bag is also.

Good quality, and a good price. Comfortable fit. Even though it would be convenient if you could fit more into it, you probably shouldn't be carrying more on your back anyway.

Would buy another bag in dk gray or khaki color.
