This belt has a very smooth fact and 2 tones. I like it and it fits my 38 waist great. It can be noisy when it is not worn, the belt buckle has quite a jingle to it when not under tension.

The third time I used this belt the reversible bucket reversed it usefulness by breaking! Not repairable even by a handyman like me. Please don't buy this belt and don't be fooled by it's claims of the wonder of the reversible bucket. The only things that reverses is it's ability to use at all.

Perfectly decent belt that can be had for a price that is much more than decent via STP. It's not the least bit formal, so won't be a good match with dress slacks and the like. But it isn't very obtrusive in its details (stitching, buckle, etc.), so it can add a small degree of dressiness to jeans, flannel shirts, etc. I personally prefer not to wear a belt at all when I'm dressing in that manner, so I'm not keeping the belt. But that's just a matter of personal taste; the belt itself has nothing wrong with it and is a good solid buy for someone looking for a basic belt.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
