This is a very fine robe and an excellent value. Cotton-silk is a superb fabric. This weave is considerably heavier than pure silk, and in fact heavier than a seersucker fabric, but lighter than flannel and much lighter than wool. I bought it to replace a silk robe that I had worn in the summers for many years and finally wore to shreds. It is heavier and warmer than my silk robe, but very comfortable. I checked the boxes above that the overall size and sleeve length felt true to size; in fact, they are sized very slightly large (I generally wear a size large and I bought the size M/L robe). Being slightly oversized is a problem in some garments, and less so in a robe although if you like the sleeves in a robe to come only to mid-forearm you will find this very long. All in all, an extremely high-quality product that could be used as a four-season robe in many climates.

It is difficult to find summer-weight robes that are also luxurious. I thought that this was a little more than I wanted to pay but when I remembered how long my husband has been wearing his last robe, I thought it was worth it.
