No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I loved the look of this birdhouse, but the hanger was too flimsy for the weight. I replaced it with a heavier wire and hung it among the branches of the maple in the front yard. Looks great, but the birds don't seem to like it - in the heaviest part of the mating season, when there was hot competition for other birdhouses, not one even inspected it.”
