It's hard to find such nice quality these days without paying a small fortune. These boots are a real steal! In the long run a higher price is usually worth it as you buy fewer things that last longer and always look good.

This is a beautiful and classic boots you'll wear for years. Only draw back is, its width seems on the narrow side. I have a narrow feet to begin with and this feels tight to me.

WOULD RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND WITH NARROW FEET! This is a beautiful equestrian-styled boot. I found it easy to pull on. It has leather soles and a nice smooth heel -- no lug to the sole at all. They are made in Italy and look and feel like quality boots that would last a long time. That said, I have a medium-width foot and this was pinching me pretty badly on the sides within a few hours of wear. I hated to return them because they are lovely boots but the width makes them unwearable for me.

A zipper would eliminate the struggle to put on these handsome, comfortable boots.
