Fabric is a lustrous, lightly stretching twill with a watery plum background that's overlaid with muted florals. Uniquely styled with flap chest pockets and an integrated sewn-in belt that stretches around the back and ends at welted pockets in front.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    The fabric is appealing, the cut is attractive with sewn in waist belt. However, the hook and eye closure system destroys the entire jacket. It doesn't function as a closing mechanism (constantly pops open somewhere) and is not attractive to view if jacket is left open. If you want to replace it with some other system, I guess it would be a nice jacket, but I'm sending it back.

    This jacket is great! The material has a slight sheen to it, the lines are classic and very well-done. The colors are lovely - roses/purples/mauves. I think this will be a great casual going-out jacket for the fall, and can probably be dressed up for less formal theatre/symphony outings. It's a keeper in my humble opinion!!
