5.0 out of 5 stars. Fantastic boots!

These boots are so comfortable and cool! A boot that is exactly like a snowboard boot, but with a removable sole and support for alpine skiing. I wish they had fit me.. I really didn't want to return them! The online reviews of these boots are great and are meant for advanced intermediate through expert (based on the stiffness of the boot).

  • 3.0 out of 5 stars. Apex boots not for me...
Verified Buyer Reviewed by Alpsman from Albany NY on Wednesday, June 21, 2017
I wore these boots for 2 runs. Even though wore them for days in the house, once clamped into my bindings they were ferociously uncomfortable FOR ME. I have wickedly wide flat feet and the contour of the footbed inflicted such pain, I wasn't sure I could finish my first run. (Imagined going down on the sled for uncomfortable boots!) Got to the bottom, and took out manufacturer's footbed and went with flat unlined boot. Still too narrow, and stiff FOR ME even though I'd put in the flex shim for the lightest flex...and back in the box forever. So my experiment with this model Apex boot was an epic failure. They probably works well for others, just not FOR ME.

After decades of pushing the boundaries of design and helping athletes go faster, Denny launched Apex ski boots in 2008 and quickly introduced a groundbreaking new concept: Open Chassis. From the revolutionary A-Flex tunable suspension system to multiple built-in adjustment features, Apex ski boots provide an impressive level of customization that few other brands can match. The result is a better fit, more control and enhanced comfort on and off the slopes. With additional features like heat-moldable liners and BOA lacing added to the mix, it’s easy to see why Apex ski boots have officially taken the industry by storm.
