    Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
    My wife really hates light when she's trying to sleep. I can't see my keyboard when I am working in bed where my wife wants me to be while she's sleeping. This light is a nice compromise. Just bright enough to see keys in a darkened room without being obnoxious. It's about the brightness of a typical LED night light.
