No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“The jacket is a darker and more purplish blue than pictured. The lining of same-color, same-lightweight cotton and the tiny pintucks in the outer fabric make ironing difficult at best. The wrinkled look is probably okay, and the fit is nice. I have hand-washed it in cold water and drip-dried it, as directed on the label, without noticeable shrinkage. It should not be put in the dryer.”
