    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    While the socks seemed like a great idea, the band around the top is so tight that all three of us buying the socks ripped them the first time we tried to put them on. Two of us are adults, but even my 9 year old granddaughter could not get her feet into a pair. They were comfortable after we got them on, but they went into the trash when we left Hawaii instead of coming home with the rest of our snorkel gear.

    I wore these inside my neoprene boots during a recent sailing trip to Maine (cold, wet weather). They do made the boots more comfortable and I'm sure they'd be nice to wear inside water shoes in general and fins also. But they don't stretch much and are not articulated with a heel, so they're hard to get on your foot. And after only 1 wear the seams started coming undone on one of them. Still, for the price I was glad to have them with me.
