“i feel like i read all of the customer reviews and felt like these boots would be worth the money. i don't really have a problem spending a lot on shoes, but only if i know they're going to last. i like to buy styles that stay 'in' for years and because these boots looked plain and still pretty cute i thought they'd fit the bill. however, when i discovered that the 'adjustable strap' was made of VELCRO i immediately sent them back. when spending a couple hundred on a pair of footwear, nowhere in sight should i see a swatch of velcro! how tacky :P a buckle or something else functional and attractive would have been better. i also don't like the zipper being visible...another thing that should be hidden behind a flap of fabric because of price...and also because of warmth and weather resistance. i am not going to recommend this 'to a friend' but if you don't care about the zipper showing or the fact that there's a cheap piece of velcro on them, then give them a shot, they are cute, and you can always send them back.”
