Aquatalia by Marvin K. Acorn Boots (For Women)

i feel like i read all of the customer reviews and felt like these boots would be worth the money. i don't really have a problem spending a lot on shoes, but only if i know they're going to last. i like to buy styles that stay 'in' for years and because these boots looked plain and still pretty cute i thought they'd fit the bill. however, when i discovered that the 'adjustable strap' was made of VELCRO i immediately sent them back. when spending a couple hundred on a pair of footwear, nowhere in sight should i see a swatch of velcro! how tacky :P a buckle or something else functional and attractive would have been better. i also don't like the zipper being visible...another thing that should be hidden behind a flap of fabric because of price...and also because of warmth and weather resistance. i am not going to recommend this 'to a friend' but if you don't care about the zipper showing or the fact that there's a cheap piece of velcro on them, then give them a shot, they are cute, and you can always send them back.

I bought these after purchasing another pair of boots made by Marvin K. I live in the mountains and have used these boots through two feet of snow and my feet did not get cold or wet, and most importantly the suede on the boots was not ruined! Very comfortable, I can and have walked for miles in these boots.

Once again, Aquatalia has done a fantastic job of making an extraordinary boot. I feel like a queen wearing this boot. Comfortable and elegant! Thank You for extraordinary value!

Very stylish and warm. Comfortable too!!!

The picture doesn't due justice to the boot. My friend had it on and I loved it. This is her 3-rd same boot Very-very comfortable you can run around in it all day. The loop on the side adjust the boot to your leg this way it fits perfect with pants or legings. What a great find. Little pricy but worth it!!!

I bought these boots in both colors. I am very pleased with them. They are well made and have a classic look to them. I am very pleased with this purchase.

Aquatalia is awesome. Expensive to start, then last for years because of the weatherproof treatment. These are a little wider than some Aquatalia. (The 9 are fitting me instead of needing to size up a half size.)

A great combination of fashion and warmth. The gusseted calf allows for perfect fit. A cold weather boot disguised as a fashion boot.

I have been wearing these boots for about two weeks now. They are so incredibly comfortable, warm, and easy to walk in. On top of that, they are very stylish. I love them so much that I just bought the black ones today, too! You will not be disapointed with these boots, should you choose to purchase them. I have also been wearing them in snowy/salty conditions and they still look clean and brand new.
