“Beautiful but very narrow and small”

“I read all the other reviews carefully before ordering these boots. I ordered a pair a full size bigger than usual, and then exchanged that for another pair 1 1/2 sizes beyond what I normally take. The length was fine on the 1 1/2 sizes bigger pair, but they were still quite narrow. I took out the insole as suggested by one reviewer, but that was not enough to make a significant difference. The calves are narrow on these boots, as everyone has said. I found them snug but comfortable. These boots would not be appropriate for anyone with well-developed calf muscles. With regret, I have returned both pairs. They are very stylish and well made, and I think they would be wonderful winter boots for someone with extremely narrow feet.”
