“I concur with the other reviewers---this robe does have a chemical smell--sort of like gasoline or paint thinner. I'm going to wash mine several times to see if the smell disappears, as it is otherwise a beautiful, soft, comfy robe. If the smell doesn't decrease dramatically, though, I'll have to return it.”
