I haven't used these boots yet. I bought them for snowy weather in the city. They aren't the boots I would buy for hiking in the mountains but for light trail hiking I think they would be fine.     I haven't used these boots yet. I bought them for snowy weather in the city. They aren't the boots I would buy for hiking in the mountains but for light trail hiking I think they would be fine. I'm a bit concerned about the soles because they feel like they might be slippery under wet, snowy condititions but I haven't tried them out under those conditions I can't say for sure.
