Aravon by New Balance Megan Sandals - Sling-Backs (For Women)

This is my 2nd pair of Aravon "stride arc" based sandals, I also have Megan in black which has no heel strap, have used that sandal for more than a year. The insoles remove and there is enough of an edge to hold my 3/4" deep orthotic, also ends of my toes protected which has been wonderful on occasion. Of course I could put in the insole(s) and my toes would be "level" like a regular sandal. My heel is a bit narrow for my size but the strap does fit me securely. I wear this with casual dresses or slacks or bermudas, it has a classic strap sandal look that goes with any outfit. Since I put in my orthotic I can wear/walk in this sandal for hours, days, Love it!

I usually were a size 11-11.5, but the size 12 fits perfectly. I also have a narrow foot, and the straps allow me to adjust the fit. These sandals are truly comfortable and don't require any break in period.

I wear these in the office and they're great for a casual summer workplace.

I was very pleased to have come across these shoes, I had been looking for them ever since I saw in magazine. true as stated, have velcrow to adjust across top of foot and foot bed feels just right for arch. Heel good for all different styles, capri, slacks and skirts. Can't beat the price! Hope company gets the other colors and styles

I love these sandals, they are the most comfortable heel that I have ever tried.

I wasn't sure by looking at the catalog picture if these would look clunky or not...but they are very sleek and stylish, definitely good for skirts and work pants. It's hard to find a pewter shoe, and they're worth their weight in gold because they go with almost any color! I normally wear an 8.5 WW, and bought the 8 EE in these...my toes are ALMOST hanging over the edge, so I sort of wish I'd sized up. Width is great, though. Only dislike so far is that the soles squeak hideously when I walk on bare floors. Hopefully that will go away after some wear, or else I'll have to stick to carpeted outings.

I like these sandals. They are as stylish as such a style can be (not very) but...the heel is a cute shape and nice height. I bought them for their support and adjustability--because I have narrow, low-volume feet and need serious arch support. They take care of both issues nicely. I have also worn this brand before and it is a very well-made, quality brand. The pewter color is very neutral but more interesting than beige or black.

Just wish the fit could be more precise
