Reviewed by zhang from Tualatin, OR on Monday, June 23, 2014Very bad shopping experience, when I received this jacket, a shock to find clothes lining with a woman's hair, this is not a new jacket, it is the shop fitting sample
Reviewed by Kolo wisi from Colorado on Wednesday, December 18, 2013I found this a typical Arcteryx fit. It is longer in the back, longer sleeves, not too short at the waist. I am not tall though, 5' 3" so maybe that is the difference between the fit on me and some of the taller people. They always make the sleeves longer and jacket bottom longer in the back so it doesn't ride up when you are ice climbing or rock climbing. It is meant for serious outdoor pursuits, so not necessarily geared for fashion. It fit me fine and the color was a bright greenish yellow color, which is how it appeared on my screen. It is lined with soft fleece but medium weight, definitely not a replacement for the Gamma SV which I have typically used backcountry skiing in Colorado. I would call this more of a 3 season piece, good for fall and spring in particular. I can see this will be really useful for skiing peaks this coming spring. Bottom line, this is a great technical jacket and it was a super good deal (but I wish they still made the Gamma SV so I could replace my winter jacket).
Reviewed by Walker from NH on Wednesday, October 23, 2013Really wanted to like this jacket. Strange fit. Fells like a petite body with tall length sleeves. Beautifully made, but fit so oddly it went back. I should have read the other reviews before ordering.
Reviewed by izzy from az on Wednesday, January 23, 2013This jacket is phenomenal. The fit is exactly what I was looking for. I have broad shoulders and a smaller waist, and an athletic build. It allows for layering underneath without looking bulky and I can move my arms overhead without binding. I dislike jackets that constrict arm movement when climbing or hiking. This one won't do that. I'm 5'5" and I thought the length was perfect, not too short or long. It is longer in the back than front which looks great. I wear a medium in most items but got the large to accommodate the layering. Living in Phoenix makes it difficult to find a jacket that will go from warmer sunny afternoons to cold nights without a problem. This one does it! It has a soft thin fleece interior, and soft-shell exterior that is very flexible-not stiff at all. It is lighter weight than my Arc gamma sv, but fits similarly with the roominess in the chest and shoulders. Oh, best of all...the cat and dog hair doesn't stick....Winner!!
Verified Buyer Reviewed by smeggy from Philly on Sunday, November 27, 2011so upset this jacket doesn't fit me right. :( I was really looking forward to wearing it, the raisin color is so cool and the jacket looked great---until i put it on that is. I ordered true to size, got a small (i have a "skinny" build, 5'7" and about 110-115 lbs and small chest) The trunk and upper arms were plenty loose but the front of the shirt was way too short. if i lifted my arms at all my belly was showing. also, although the arms were loose and a long enough length, the wrists were tapered down & very fitted to me. it looks strange. maybe this would be a better fit for a very petite gal because although i am small boned/thin, i am not short & it seems built for someone much smaller height wise. although then the arms might be too long...well mine is going back for a refund because going a size smaller to get a closer fit will mean the body of it will be even shorter. and going up a size would make it baggier in the body & upper arms. oh well....
- Best Uses: For petite frames
- Cons: Arms baggy wrist tight, Overall unflattering fit, Too Short
- Pros: Awesome color, material good quality

- Cons: Strange fit, Too short in front, Unflattering
