Arche Caline Sandals with Ankle Straps (For Women)

The French are great at design. I get a lot of compliments when I wear these shoes. So happy to find them on sale here because they are way too expensive at retail.

This is a very pretty gold sandal and it fits fairly true to size...with a caveat. I needed size 36 in this Arche style, a size smaller than I usually wear, as I have thin ankles and to make the sandal stable, the smaller size worked better. If your foot is wide in front and your ankles are normal you should be fine in your normal size...otherwise go down a size. I'm taking my sandals to Paris to wear in the evening.

These sandals are exquisitely beautiful and sexy and comfortable - another Arche triumph. The inside of the sandal is silky smooth; the toe ring will take some getting used to, but I've got sensitive feet. Because of the toe ring and the straps, this shoe feels very stable on your foot. I'm usually an 8 1/2 narrow, I went down to an 8 medium and the shoe fits beautifully. Beware that the inner sole of this sandal is lined in a bright color which you can definitely see.

I loved the way the shoe felt: comfortable, light and durable. And yet I simply didn't like the way it looked and decided to send them back and hunt for something else.

These shoes are incredibly comfortable, and nicely dressy--low-heeled, so easy to wear all day.

These sandals are BEAUTIFUL, but while a 41 in a wider Arche shoe would probably work for my 10.5 size feet, these are very narrow, and one of my feet seemed JUST a little too long for the heel. But they are gorgeous, well-made and super comfortable.

There is a visual delicacy to this shoe, but in no way is it delicate. It is tough!

I've had lots of Arche shoes in my life and like nearly all the pairs I've had, these are comfortable without being orthopedic looking, and stylish. The French know how it's done.
