Arche Laius Nubuck Shoes - Slip-Ons (For Women)

Salma Hayek once said in the interview about her life in Paris: “It’s nuts, how good people look, too. Nobody’s overweight, everybody’s well dressed, no tennis shoes – somehow, even though they walk all over the place, everyone manages to wear real shoes, nice shoes.” And often times these are Arche shoes they are wearing. It’s so nice to be able to find the same Arche shoes as in the stores all over Paris but for a fraction of a price at Sierra! THANK YOU, SIERRA. These shoes are truly comfortable and they look great on feet for right occasions, i.e. where stilettos go, Arche might not be “it.” As for size, Arche runs true to size because French (and Italian) cloths and shoes are standardized, while that is not the case for US and UK market (both US and UK markets allow size inflation a.k.a. vanity sizing). Arche in size 38 means that it is a true size 7 US, and that is 23 cm (always measure your foot while standing on it). Note: for some reason gym shoes seem to ‘run’ most vain in vanity sizing (e.g. I wear European 38 shoes, but my gym shoes are either 6.5 or 6.0 US sizes – hence, I would discourage from relying on ordering these Arche shoes based on the size of your gym shoes and gauge based on a different type of shoes for size). Also relevant is the fact that these shoes are on a narrow side and they may either require being 1/2 size larger to accommodate for width, or they may not be too comfortable altogether for wider feet. All in all, we each have our preferences; I know Arche are my preferred shoes and, as such, I highly recommend these slippers (great with pants, great with skirts). Happy walking :)
