No, I would not recommend this to a friend
“I bought this jacket for winter hiking. Since I already own a couple of Arc'Teryx pieces, I was expecting a jacket with a somewhat trimmer fit. (I'm 6'1", 175lbs., and bought a Large.) The fit is pretty relaxed in the body, and the collar is very roomy as well, though the sleeves fit my long arms perfectly. Otherwise, the jacket seems well made, and the Powershield fabric is wonderful. It would probably be OK for someone who is a bit heavier than me. Sadly, I sent it back.”
