    Unfortunately, this did not fulfill my requirements for a ski/outdoor sports jacket. It looks baggy and has far too much room in the torso. In addition, the fabric is very bulky and it is not easy to move freely in the jacket. It would be better suited for a boy sledding than for a woman attempting outdoor sports. I am sure it generates plenty of warmth, but the look and the feel doesn't work for me.

    This coat is amazing -- it is incredibly warm (as warm as my heaviest down coat), but it breathes and isn't bulky. It's great in snow, wind, and whatever Chicago weather throws at it. I've been using it for January dog walks, and it is the best coat for winter walking/hiking that I've had.

    I think it was recommended to order down a size, which I did and the fit was perfect, with plenty of room to add layers for super-cold weather.     I underestimated the weight of this jacket. I was expecting something on the lighter side. Although this jacket is quite warm , its not the sort of layer that can be easily tied around one's waist. A fine jacket, just not what I was looking for.
