“I have a bit of an Arc'teryx fetish, and own a lot of their equipment. I always shop for bargains and if you can pick up something like the Sidewinder for Sierra's price, then you've really scored. Now about the jacket. It's a serious jacket for serious use. Totally waterproof, reasonably breathable, very durable, and even fashionable. It's a snow-sport specific piece, meaning it accommodates layering and fits a bit bigger than other Arc' pieces. It can also be used as an all-around rain jacket, but it's bound to get clammy on more humid and warm days. So in a nutshell...it's totally worth it at this price, but at full pop--probably a bit much considering it's made in China, not Canada.”
