Arc'teryx Trident Hoodie Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

Great jacket; much thinner than I expected it to be. Can't layer too much. Good for skiing on pretty warm days. Definitely not for Vermont-type of skiing (at -20C)!!

So, I don't think it would be worth the retail value, but for the deal I got through STP I love this purchase. It's a cute jacket and I love the Bumbleberry color. It is more of a fitted jacket but I think the size is right if you keep in mind that it is fitted. I wore it skiing and snow shoeing this past week and it was warmer than I thought it would be. I only wore a long sleeve wicking shirt underneath the jacket and I was very impressed with the warmth.

Great outer layer. Warm and wind/waterproof. The color was also very stylish.

i'm 5'5" 120, shortwaisted and usually XS or S with arcteryx, i got the XS which was good fit through body but snug under the arms as the fabric is not as stretchy as some of arcteryx's other soft shell jackets. the armadillo color is adorable though, more slate grey than shown in the photo. S would have been better fit for arms but looser in body. not too short for my frame. and longer in back as usual in arcteryx

This is a great, every-day, cool-to-cold weather jacket. Nicely fitted so it's great for layering. I will wear it for walks, hikes, to work, on errands, and out. I would NOT wear it to go mountaineering or backpacking, however. It just doesn't seem to be made to be technical gear. I took no issue with the sizing. It's quite flattering - great cut with no constriction. This will be my daily jacket for fall and winter (with another layer over it in winter).

The body of the jacket was too short, and the fleece was not very thick, so it's difficult to decide what season this jacket should be worn in. I ended up returning it.

I like the jacket overall but it's a little short. Also I was hoping the jasmine color would be a little darker, too light-colored for me.

Nice design but I do wish the trim use different color than the body. I also wish it is a little bit heavier. It will be better if the length of torso is just a little bit longer. But this is subjective opinion.

Jacket is fitted so base layers underneath should be fitted or thinner. Warm, good windblock. No restricted movement while skiing.
