Arc'teryx Trident Jacket - Soft Shell (For Women)

I usually wear an 8 in pants and tops so I'm kind of in between a M and L. Unfortunately I've gotten a little chesty as I am 53 now. The M was way too small for me. The length is short in front but it is longer in back. I'm a little long waisted too. I've never owned Arc'Teryx before, but know it is considered highest end performance wear. It didn't seem better than other brands. I returned it and didn't exchange.

Great Jacket!

I needed a real layer that was better at wind-blocking and temperature regulating than my older fleeces (which I have in varying degrees of warmth--so I really had to justify another layer purchase). I wanted something I could wear to bike to work, often in the wind and fog, and not arrive in a puddle or a chill. This jacket fits that bill. And, if I go to the snow, it will be a great layering item. The color of mine is "jasmine" which is a fancy way to say "off-white" and I find way too many ways to get dirty than someone wearing off-white should.

This is a great jacket! I wore them when I hiked in 30s and 40s degrees. It kept me warm and comfortable. It looks cute too! The overall length is a bit short compared to other softshells of other brands, but it's not too short.

I wore it when I went camping and hiking in the weather around 40 degrees. I like it because It kept me warm but also comfortable. It's very stylish too. The overall length is shorter than other softshell models, but it's not too short. The sleeves fit very well.

I was so pleased when the jacket arrived and it fit considering some of the other reviews. I am 5'7 and generally wear a large, and the large sized jacket fit me perfectly. The jacket also has some nice stretch to it, so it is extremely comfortable to wear. Keep in mind that this is a soft shell, and is made to layer underneath a waterproof outer layer, so it is designed to be fitted. If that is what you are looking for, then this is a great jacket. It is also perfect on its own for walking or hiking in dry weather since it is so thin and breathable.

I purchased the medium and the shoulders and chest were too tight, which is surprising because I wear a medium size. Exchanged for a large and was swimming in the jacket, especially the hip and waist. Just not a well fitting jacket for my shape.

I didn't really have a chance to wear it to get a good feel, because when I tried it on, the body was too short. I'm tall and thin, so unfortunately, it didn't quite fit. I had to return it. Super cute coat and I loved it - so sad to send it back!

love this jacket, keeps me warm and dry and is very stylish! jacket is a tiny bit short for my long torso... but it fits great anyways
