Very nice. The fabric is light and a little bit silky. These shorts can be worn in many occasions. Fit well.
I was looking for something a little more rustic and thus returned them.

I was looking for bib waterproof pants for work on the North Slope of Alaska. I spent two months trudging around in the snow, ice, rain, wind, wind, wind, and wind. These pants were amazing! They kept me dry and no snow down the back of my pants that normal ski pants would allow. They are not insulated which I prefer because you can layer underneath. Combine these bibs with a thicker thread count merino wool long underwear and you are good to go. The fit is super comfy and flattering. I am 5'7" 160lbs with a muscular build and a butt (i.e. not flat). I had plenty of room in a Large. The cargo pockets have a good amount of space and are large enough for a field book which I loved. The side vents are great too if you get a little warm. The bottom cuffs are tough as well. I thought a couple of times I may have ripped them on my boot spikes but the inner portion has a thicker tough material. My mom always says the price goes down on something every time you get a complement. I have gotten so many compliments on these bibs from both women and men. Everyone asks what brand and where I got them. The only draw back has nothing to do with the pants just bibs in general make it hard to go to the bathroom. Gets a little cold when you have to take off your coat to get your pants down.

Unfortunately, they fit like a glove. Will need hemming but better than too short. Arc'teryx is a great brand and these should work well for every day use (I'm a nurse) as well as hiking or travel pants. They are pricey but a real bargain at STP.
