    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I was excited to nab an Arc'teryx jacket for such a low price bt very disappointed once it arrived. the fit is horrible. it was loose in the arms & trunk but way too short. material felt stiff. i thoght it was a pale yellow but it's kinda got a greenish hue in it. i am not happy with this jacket at all and will be sending it back.

    I read some reviews before I bought these that said "feels too small" and figured they'd be perfect for me since I usually have the opposite problem. In most brands I'm a 0 or 2, but these are a 4 and they fit great. I have found Arcteryx to run a little longer an narrower than other brands which is great for me. Really pretty color and nice sturdy but comfy fabric.

    Bought this jacket for myself. Love its quality and stylish cut. However, the size small is not quite standard American size SMALL, more like Japanese size SMALL. So, be careful when you pick your size.

    I am 5'6" - 125lbs - age 63. Needed to return the medium for a small - have plenty of room for layering. Have not worn it much due to our mild October - but I am sure it will work great for snowshoeing and walking and other fall - winter activities. Just a good looking all around jacket.

    This company makes great stuff and this is a very good jacket. Looks great, feels good. I look great wearing it into work or on dog walks. I wouldn't actually use it in the outback. But I don't think it was really designed for that anyways. I'm pretty small in the chest like a 6 and the Medium fit for a Tshirt but not for a sweater.
