    My daughter grew out of her last pair of Kamiks and those were great. These looked great but when she put them on, she complained that the instep felt wierd. I put my hand inside and felt the lining which was all buckled and unlike many winter boots, not adjustable..

    For walking on snowy, icy sidewalks and roads, it's fine although traction is not as good as other boots I've had. I agree with other reviewer(s) that it would be nice if the boots were longer. They come to mid-shin/calf only. Also, the toe-box is just a little tight, so beware if you have wide feet or bunions. However, the boots are easy to get on/off, and I like the velcro strap around the ankle, rather than a lace that needs to be tied.
