Just purchased second pair of same shoe. This boot is great in color with jeans and dress pants. I am now a ariat fan. Great feel, look, and true size. By EE wide if you have high instep or slightly wider foot.

Shoes fit true to size. However, I recommend EE wide if you have a high instep or slightly wide foot. It took three days with use of tennis sock and dress sock to break in. I even purchased a second pair but different style 1 week later. I would recommend that you buy a 1/2 size bigger if toe of boot is pointed. This toe has a perfect sqaure toe. I have seen some wider than tis shoe. Bull riders have the best cut in my opinion.

Having already given a complementary review on this boot, I am a little surprised not seeing other reviews. With this in mind, I'll add the following with regards to just how well these boots really do look under a pair of jeans:

I recently wore a pair of these boots to Costco to do some grocery shopping for my wife who was ill, and while loading my car , I heard the voice of someone giving a whistle and subsequent thumbs up, pointing to the boots when I looked over at him. Since I am 75 years old, this complement certainly wasn't because of my looks, etc!!

I already had a pair of these, which I purchased elsewhere some time ago and have been so pleased with them, I jumped on the chance to get a second backup pair. Although this boot is advertised as an Arena tested boot, don't let that part fool you; they serve equally well as a dressup go out on the town boot!
This particular Ariat boot is made in Mexico, which I view as a big plus; the leather in the lower part of the boot is magnificant in quality and looks rich in texture /color plus dressy enough to wear out on the town if desired. Even with a fairly high heel height (for riding), these boots are still very comfortable on the feet with above average support for my high instep.
