I live in "bush" Alaska. I first saw a pair of Brown Bombers on a lady who is a homesteader here. They go well with jeans, slacks, and skirts. Everyone here takes their footwear off when entering homes. These are easy to take off and on. I wear these when I fly. I fly to different villages in ...

I have knee and hip problems from farm accidents. These have the most comfortable outsole that provide the best relief for my health issues. They are even better than the custom made orthopedic solutions. However, I have since bought 4 more pair of Ariat fatbaby boots which are very comfortable BUT they do not have the same outsole.I can not find these anymore.

Bought a pair in the grey crinkle- no breaking in time;comfortable from the start. Tough enough to go through cattle shows. Cute enough to wear anytime.Sole and weight are great on your feet and legs when you have to stand, groom and lead cattle on long show days.Ariats with the "saddle" across the instep are a little snugger than those without. You may need a 1/2 half size larger if you wear thick boot socks.

This picture online looks so very different then the actual boots. The crinkle fabric leather is hard to see in the picture and in person looks very strange for my style. Sadly I would not recommend these boots because of there appearance, color, and few uses. Sorry Ariat, but you didn't hit the spot with this one!
Best Uses: Casual Wear, Cold Weather, Going Out, Office
Cons: Causes Hotspots or Blisters, Difficult Entry/Exit, Stains Easily, Uncomfortable

These boots fit my need of having a stylish Western boot while not hurting my feet. They have a wide toe box and low heel that feels soft. There is a mild arch support inside. It is also removable and can be replaced by a more aggressive arch support. The white color is more of a "bone" shade. The crinkle leather starts off subtle and gets more textured with wear. They are a nice alternative to black or brown boots.
