    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    It runs almost a full size larger than normal. The tan gaucho looks like a crocodile dundee skin boot. The sole is way too slippery. There is a zipper, but the product description does not mention it.

    We appreciate your review, and sincerely apologize for the confusion regarding these boots. We have looked at this item and found that our supplier shipped us two different styles of this boot. The remaining inventory of these will have the zippers as shown in the main and alternative images on our website.

    No, I would not recommend this to a friend
    I'm usually a down the middle size 9.5 medium width. I have no problems with sizing typically with over 20 pairs of shoes I've ordered from STP. These Ariat's are odd. I returned for a 1/2 size down, and they are still a bit too long. However, another 1/2 size down would be too snug in the ankle and instep. The quality of the leather and the appearance are excellent. Made in Mexico. A bargain if you can get them to fit.

    Look great, it says to order a half size smaller, I would say more like 1-1.5 sizes smaller. I am a regular 9.5 and the 9 was gigantic. Looked great, though. If I could have tried these on in a store it would have been perfect, but you just cant beat STP deals online!
