I have been looking for a combination hiking boot and riding boot for a long time and this is it. They are sturdy, have the right sole and heel for riding and are comfortable. The only con is that they have an tight fitting sock like lining, that is difficult to get into, although it does keep the sand out of the boot.

These are great boots-they just run really short. A full size I think. I'm usually a 7 1/2 narrow. I bought a 7 1/2 and an 8. I kept the 8 and feel like they are a small 7 1/2, but since they have good toe room they'll work and they are really comfortable. Not too wide or narrow.

I have horribly picky feet, so my complaint is strictly related to the problems i have with my feet. If you have a similar problem with your feet, this is helpful. The joint under my big toe is arthritic (weird, i know). So ANY shoe that creases or presses down there when i walk hurts. i like the boots enough to try to work something out. The only other complaint i have is that the camo coloring was worn in some places. But it will be under jeans anyway. Nice cushioning, not too soft (soft for me hurts, too flexible hurts). Would recommend them for most people without my type of foot problem.

I bought the boots for my daughter who has a very hard time finding footwear to fit her. She absolutely loves the boots! She is a horse rider and the soles on the boots do not not slip out of the stirrups! They are perfect!!

These are so comfortable and really cute. I plan on using them mostly around horse but just took them on a cruise to Alaska and they were perfect for shore trips.

I was worried these boots would be too wide for the stirrups on my saddle, but they fit great. Plus, the sole never slipped on the stirrup. I could wear these boots all day.

Unfortunately... these are small enough that I must return.
