Arnold Brant Birdseye Suit - Cashmere (For Men)

This is a very attractive suit that is more interesting than a solid black suit. It is a little darker than how it appears in the pictures. The fabric is very nice. It has more of a European cut, and I found that it was sized way too small. Every other jacket I own is a 44L, but I needed this suit in a 46L and even then it is cut close to the body. The tailored cut, however, is very flattering. Note that the chest pocket is slanted and the notches on the lapels are very high, giving this a more modern look. Still, it has a classy look that won't go out of style.

I origionally ordered this as a 42 but had to send it back as too small. The 44 fits great. It looks good. I also bought a 42 Lauren overcoat, and together they look sharp. My only concern is that the fabric might not stand up to everyday use, but if you want a good looking suit to wear occasionally this is a good buy.

It really has a hand tailored look about it. Being birdseye weave and cashmere, it probably won't wear forever. The price is fantastic, and while it lasts, its a dream suit. Suggest that when getting the pants hemmed or cuffed take extra care to prevent fraying.

This suit is basically ideal for business or professional wear - almost too formal while still not quite too formal. Arnold Brant sizing seems always to be a size smaller than American ready-to-wear (at least one full size smaller, if not more....) in the torso measurements. This sizing is for a trim fit, so keep this in mind when selecting the right size for yourself.

Very nice. Fabric is unusual, but not flashy. The usual tight AB cut. Although it is lightweight, I wonder if I can wear it in warm weather - black cashmere. Nice cut. Kind of on the casual side. The coat would make a fine sport coat - I may use it that way. Well worth the money.
